PROSPHOROUS ACID

H₃PO₃ is a colorless, crystalline compound with a slightly pungent odor, known for its strong reducing properties. It is soluble in water and decomposes upon heating, forming phosphine (PH₃) and phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄).
