Chemical name: Hydrogen peroxide (H ₂ O ₂), composed of hydrogen and oxygen, is a weakly acidic oxidizing liquid.

At room temperature, it is a colorless and transparent liquid, with commercially available concentrations ranging from 3% (medical) to 35% (industrial).
There is a slight irritating odor, and the high concentration solution is viscous and easy to decompose (generating water and oxygen).

Strong oxidizing ability: can kill bacteria, viruses, and bleach organic matter.
