Basic properties of hydrogen dioxide:

Status and color: It is a colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature, and the commercially available concentration is usually 3% -30% aqueous solution. High concentrations (>60%) may appear viscous.
Odor: There is a slight irritating odor.
Stability: Easy to decompose into water and oxygen, accelerated by light, high temperature, or metal ions.
