DOP plasticizer is divided into general industrial grade and electrical insulation grade according to purity, volatile content and insulation performance indicators. The two grades have clear application boundaries, and targeted selection according to production needs can effectively balance product quality and procurement cost.
General industrial grade DOP has conventional plasticizing performance, with moderate volatile content and impurity content. It is suitable for ordinary soft plastic products, agricultural films, artificial leather and general plastic profile processing scenarios. It has high cost performance and is the mainstream bulk export grade for ordinary industrial plastic processing.
Electrical insulation grade DOP adopts deep purification treatment process, with ultra-low volatile matter, ultra-high purity and excellent electrical insulation performance. Its dielectric loss is extremely low, and it can maintain stable insulation performance in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. It is specially used for high-end power cables, communication cables and electrical insulation plastic products.
In terms of quality indicators, electrical insulation grade DOP has stricter control on acid value, moisture content and residual impurities than industrial grade, with better aging resistance and thermal stability. The production process is more sophisticated, so the unit price is slightly higher than industrial grade products.
Procurement suggestions: Ordinary plastic daily necessities, agricultural and civil plastic products select general industrial grade DOP; power equipment, wire and cable, high-end electrical insulation materials must choose electrical insulation grade products to ensure product safety and compliance.
