IMDG Liquid Hazard Rules, IBC Drum Sealing and Safe Warehouse Storage for Bulk DOP Export

DOP is a colorless and transparent oily liquid chemical, classified as general industrial liquid cargo for maritime transportation, with no major dangerous goods attributes. However, due to its oily viscosity and slight flammability, standardized packaging, storage and shipment management are required for bulk export to ensure transportation safety.

 

Bulk DOP export adopts standard 200L iron drums or 1000L IBC ton drums. All packaging containers undergo strict leak-proof and sealed treatment to prevent liquid leakage during long-distance ocean transportation and container turnover. The outer package is marked with product name, specification, net weight and safety warning signs.

 

Warehouse safety storage of DOP requires cool, dry and ventilated indoor environment, away from open fire, high-temperature heat sources and strong oxidizing chemicals. It is forbidden to mix and stack with flammable and explosive materials to avoid potential safety hazards such as combustion.

 

In terms of IMDG shipping rules, DOP belongs to non-dangerous general cargo with loose stowage requirements and fast customs clearance efficiency. During container loading, keep a safe distance from high-risk dangerous goods to avoid chemical reaction risks caused by accidental leakage.
