The global Ammonium Lignosulfonate market maintains sufficient overall supply in mid-2026, but periodic price fluctuations emerge due to timber pulp raw material volatility and seasonal export stocking. China dominates over 70% of global output, relying on complete paper mill supporting chains and mature lignin purification technology.

Raw wood pulp is the core feedstock for producing Ammonium Lignosulfonate. In recent weeks, international softwood pulp prices climbed moderately amid tight global timber supply, lifting comprehensive manufacturing costs for all lignosulfonate manufacturers. Domestic paper mills also adjust waste liquor recovery schedules in summer, slightly cutting available raw material volume for lignin factories.

Regional demand differences directly shape export quotation gaps for Ammonium Lignosulfonate. Southeast Asia's construction and mining sectors stay in year-round high demand, supporting steady FOB prices. South American and African buyers concentrate bulk purchases before rainy seasons, pushing short-term order surges and small price hikes of 3%–5% per ton. European clients mostly order low-sugar refined grade with long-term fixed contracts, less affected by spot market volatility.

Market analysts forecast Ammonium Lignosulfonate prices will stay stable for the next month. Pulp supply will gradually recover in late July, easing cost pressure on manufacturers. Overseas distributors are advised to sign medium-term supply contracts to avoid temporary price spikes during peak construction and mining seasons.
