ZINC CHLORIDE
The physical preparation of zinc chloride typically involves the reaction of zinc metal with hydrochloric acid (HCl). First, zinc metal is placed in a reaction vessel, and hydrochloric acid is gradually added. The solution of it can be concentrated by evaporation, and upon cooling, it can be obtained. Alternatively, it can also be prepared by direct chlorination of zinc metal with chlorine gas at elevated temperatures.
