Thiourea
Description of diphenyl thiourea:
Colorless or white crystalline or crystalline powder. Bitter taste. Soluble in 11 parts of water, soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in ether. Under vacuum, sublimation occurs at 150-160 ℃. Flammable when exposed to open flames and high heat. It can react strongly with oxidants. Thermal decomposition releases toxic gases such as nitrogen and sulfur oxides.
Production method of diphenyl thiourea:
The preparation method is to react barium sulfide with sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, and the hydrogen sulfide gas is absorbed by the negative pressure of the stone ash emulsion to obtain a solution of calcium hydrogen sulfide. It is then reacted with calcium cyanamide, and the molar ratio of calcium hydrogen sulfide to calcium cyanamide is 1:5. Under continuous stirring, the reaction temperature is (80 ± 5) ℃, and the reaction time is 3 hours. After negative pressure filtration, a thiourea liquid can be generated, which is then evaporated, filtered, cooled, and crystallized to obtain crystalline thiourea. The finished product is obtained by centrifugal dehydration and drying. The reaction equation is as follows: BaS+H2SO4 → BaSO4 ↓+H2S ↑ 2H2S+Ca (OH) 2 → Ca (SH) 2+2H2O
The synthesis method involves the reaction of barium sulfide with hydrochloric acid (or sulfuric acid), negative pressure absorption with lime milk, and then reaction with lime nitrogen. After filtration, cooling crystallization, centrifugal separation, and drying, the product of thiourea is obtained.
