Dialkyl thiourea is an important chemical raw material and organic chemical intermediate.

Dialkyl thiourea use:

The raw materials used for synthesizing drugs such as sulfathiazole, methionine, and pig fat tablets. Used as a raw material for dyes, dyeing aids, resins, and compression molding powders. It can also be used as a vulcanization promoter for rubber, a flotation agent for metal minerals, a catalyst for producing phthalic anhydride and fumaric acid, and as a metal rust inhibitor. In terms of photographic materials, it can be used as a developer and toner. It can also be used in the electroplating industry. Thiourea is also used in many aspects such as diazotized photosensitive paper, synthetic resin coatings, anion exchange resins, germination promoters, fungicides, etc. Thiourea is also used as a fertilizer.

First aid measures:

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly rinse the skin with soap and water.

Eye contact: Lift the eyelids and rinse with flowing water or physiological saline. Seek medical attention.

Inhalation: Quickly remove from the scene to a place with fresh air. Maintain airway patency. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
