Application
Research has shown that sodium bicarbonate has multifaceted therapeutic value for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In terms of improving renal function, oral sodium bicarbonate can significantly increase the serum bicarbonate levels of patients and delay the rate of decline in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
