Application

Side effects and precautions: Using sodium bicarbonate in high doses or with renal insufficiency may cause symptoms such as edema, psychiatric symptoms, muscle pain or convulsions, slowed breathing, oral odor, abnormal fatigue and weakness, mainly caused by metabolic alkalosis
Long term use may cause symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, persistent headache, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting.
