Accelerating the cultivation and expansion of emerging industries is also an important task for Qinghai Province in 2023. According to the government work report, Qinghai will focus on building a world-class salt lake industrial base and a national clean energy industrial highland, implement the "six projects" of high-quality industrial development, and accelerate the construction of four hundred billion industrial clusters, including the comprehensive utilization of salt lake resources, new energy, new materials, and non-ferrous metallurgy. Promote the production capacity construction of basic lithium salt and high-purity lithium carbonate, and guide the salt lake industry to expand into the field of new materials.
