1, Basic properties
27 hydrogen peroxide inherits the commonalities of hydrogen peroxide in terms of properties, but due to its higher concentration, its characteristics are more prominent and dangerous.

 

1. Physical properties:
·Appearance: Colorless and transparent liquid.
·Odor: There is a slight irritating odor.
·Density: Approximately 1.10 g/cm ³ (heavier than water).
·Stability: It is inherently unstable and slowly decomposes into water and oxygen when exposed to light, heating, or in contact with impurities such as metal ions and dust. Therefore, it is usually necessary to store in dark (brown) bottles and add stabilizers (such as sodium phosphate) to delay decomposition.
2. Chemical properties (core characteristics):
·Strong oxidizing property: This is its most important chemical property. It can provide reactive oxygen species to oxidize other substances. A concentration of 27% already has a strong oxidizing ability.

 

Usage method of 27 hydrogen peroxide:

This disinfectant is used to kill microorganisms and can effectively remove bacteria, viruses, and other small particles. However, its cost is relatively high, so it is not commonly used in industrial circulating water. However, in some specific industries, this product is still widely used, such as textile printing and paper industry, as well as bleach preservatives in the food industry. Its commonly used dosage is around 100mg/L, suitable for use in small systems.
