In terms of usage guidelines, industrial grade products are prohibited from contacting any food, pharmaceutical and edible raw materials. It is only used for industrial auxiliary treatment and environmental protection projects. Food grade products can be directly added to food processing within the specified dosage range, with standardized addition ratios clearly stipulated by international food regulatory authorities.

 

Price and cost differences also exist between the two grades. Food grade Sodium Metabisulphite requires multiple purification and filtration processes, resulting in higher production costs and quotation. Industrial grade products have cost advantages and are more suitable for large-scale industrial procurement.
