Products Description

Colorless transparent smoke liquid with a strong irritating odor. It belongs to the category of strong acids. It can dissolve with water in any proportion and form an azeotropic mixture above the boiling point of both. Can be miscible with many organic solvents, but insoluble in hydrocarbons. Flammable, when stored for a long time above 30 ℃, formic acid 85 will slowly decompose and release carbon monoxide. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, which can cause combustion and explosion when exposed to open flames and high heat energy. React with strong oxidants. Has strong corrosiveness. Corrosion of aluminum, cast iron, steel, certain plastics, rubber, and coatings.
