Method of production
The desulfurized and compressed carbon monoxide is introduced into a reaction vessel containing 20% to 30% sodium hydroxide solution and reacted at 160-200 ℃ and 1.4-1.6 MPa to generate sodium formate. Then, it is treated with dilute sulfuric acid to obtain 76% formic acid water azeotrope, which can be further concentrated and refined.

It has good volatility and is easy to completely remove after cleaning, making it suitable for cleaning projects that are sensitive to residues.
