Uses: Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is mainly used as raw material for manufacturing zinc barium white and other zinc salts, and is also an important auxiliary raw material for viscose fibre and vinylon fibre. In the printing and dyeing industry, it is used as mordant and anti-alkali agent for dyeing of vanadium blue salt. In addition, it is also used as wood and leather preservative, bone glue clarification and preservative, medicine emetic and fungicide, agriculture as trace element fertiliser and so on.

Safety: Zinc sulphate heptahydrate is harmful if swallowed, can cause serious damage to the eyes, is extremely toxic to aquatic organisms and may have long-term adverse effects on the aquatic environment. It needs to be kept airtight during storage and use, and avoid mixing and stacking with wet items and other coloured raw materials. Preparation: Zinc sulphate heptahydrate can be obtained by the action of zinc or zinc oxide with sulphuric acid or by extractive refining of sphalerite after roasting in a reflecting furnace. Packing, Storage and Transportation: Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate is usually packed in woven bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags, net weight 50kg per bag. it should be stored in dry and ventilated warehouse, transported with cover, protected from sunlight and rain, and protected from moisture.
