SODIUM LAURYL ETHER SULFATE

The preparation of SLES includes five process steps: condensation of lauryl alcohol and ethylene oxide, sulfation of condensation products, neutralization, press filtration, residue removal and filtrate distillation. 452 kg of lauryl alcohol (hydroxyl value 275-320) was put into the reactor, and 5kg of potassium hydroxide was put into the mixing tank to prepare 50% aqueous solution and put into the reactor. Vacuum, control the vacuum degree at 13.3kPa, and gradually heat up to about 120℃ for dehydration. After the dehydration is completed, nitrogen is used to replace the air, and after the air is driven out, the temperature is raised to 140 ~ 150℃, and the stirring is started, and 324kg ethylene oxide is injected at 3 kPa.
