Ammonium Persulfate is classified as IMDG Class 5.1 oxidizing dangerous goods (UN1444), subject to strict packaging, stowage and handling regulations during all export logistics links. Non-compliant operation leads to port detention, fire risks and customs clearance delays.
Standard export packaging adopts double-layer structure: inner sealed PE plastic bag + outer thickened cardboard drum, 25kg net weight per drum. The fully sealed design isolates moisture to slow natural decomposition during cross-ocean transportation. Each drum prints clear oxidant hazard warning labels and UN transport codes for port authority verification.
Container stowage rules require Ammonium Persulfate to be isolated from flammable materials, reducing agents, alcohols and acidic goods with at least one empty compartment gap. Mixed loading with organic powders and textile raw materials is strictly forbidden to prevent violent oxidation and fire accidents under high sea temperatures.
Loading and unloading operators must wear dust-proof respirators, anti-chemical gloves and protective goggles. Rough dropping and drum collision are prohibited to avoid package rupture and powder leakage. Exporters need to submit dangerous goods declaration, MSDS and factory safety certificates one week before vessel cut-off to complete all clearance procedures smoothly and ensure safe global delivery of Ammonium Persulfate.
