Ammonium chloride is a chemical hazard. Ammonium chloride, short for ammonium chloride, is the ammonium salt of hydrochloric acid, mostly a by-product of the alkali industry. Containing 24%-26% nitrogen, white or slightly yellow square or octahedral small crystals, there are two types of powder and granular dosage, granular ammonium chloride is not easy to absorb moisture, easy to store, and powdered ammonium chloride is more often used as the production of fertiliser fertilizer base. It is a physiological acidic fertiliser, not suitable for application on acidic and saline soil because of more chlorine, not suitable for use as seed fertiliser, seedling fertiliser or foliar fertiliser, and not suitable for application on chlorine-sensitive crops (e.g. tobacco, potato, citrus, tea tree, etc.). This product is used in paddy fields with high and stable fertilizer efficiency, because chlorine can inhibit nitrification in paddy fields, but also facilitate the formation of rice stalk fibre, increase toughness, and reduce the collapse of rice and pest infestation.
