TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE
Trisodium phosphate (Na₃PO₄), is an inorganic compound that usually exists in a white powder or crystalline form. Its molecular weight is 163.94 g/mol and its density is 2.536 g/cm³. Trisodium phosphate is easily soluble in water and is strongly alkaline when dissolved, with an aqueous pH of about 11-12. It is hygroscopic in moist air, but relatively stable in dry air. Trisodium phosphate has good emulsification, dispersion and buffering ability, and is widely used in the fields of detergents, fertilizers, food additives, water treatment agents and industrial cleaning agents.
