Sodium percarbonate for washing machine, also known as sodium percarbonate or sodium peroxide hydrate, is commonly known as solid hydrogen peroxide. Its chemical formula is 2Na2CO3 • 3H2O2 or Na2H3CO6. It is an adduct of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide, an inorganic salt, in the form of white granular powder, odorless, soluble in water to form sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. It is alkaline and oxidizing, and can be used as a bleaching agent for laundry detergent. It is also effective in removing tea stains.

Method of production
Sodium percarbonate for washing machine is obtained in industry by controlling the pH value and concentration of crystalline sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide solutions, and can also be synthesized in the laboratory in this way. Sodium carbonate solid can also be directly reacted with concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution.

Application
Sodium percarbonate for washing machine is commonly used as an auxiliary agent in laundry detergent, belonging to the oxygen based bleaching agent (compared to sodium hypochlorite in chlorine based bleaching agents), and is an environmentally friendly bleaching agent. Managing fish ponds can effectively increase dissolved oxygen. Commonly used commercial substances such as sulfates and silicates are coated to obtain coated sodium percarbonate to improve storage stability requirements in laundry detergent formulations. The more traditional laundry bleaching agent is sodium perborate. The advantage of sodium perborate is its stable storage and good compatibility with other laundry powder components, which is incomparable and irreplaceable to sodium percarbonate.
