SOIUM CHLORATE
Sodium chlorate, an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaClO3, is usually white or slightly yellow isometric crystals with a salty and cool flavour, easily soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. It has strong oxidising effect in acidic solution and decomposes above 300℃ to produce oxygen. Sodium chlorate is not stable. It is easy to burn and explode when mixed with phosphorus, sulphur and organic matter by impact, and easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate. It is mainly used in the manufacture of chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite, perchlorate and other chlorates.

Mainly used in the manufacture of chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite, perchlorate and other chlorates. It is also used as a herbicide. Used in the pharmaceutical industry for the manufacture of medicinal zinc oxide. Also used in tanning, pyrotechnics, printing ink manufacturing, metallurgical ore treatment. Sodium chlorate production mainly adopts the electrolysis method, the use of electrolysis tanks are mainly three kinds: graphite anode electrolysis tank is now eliminated; lead dioxide anode electrolysis tanks and the old metal anode electrolysis tanks are increasingly eliminated; the new metal anode electrolysis tanks are being rapidly promoted.
